The Netizen

Despite all the promises I made to myself about never becoming a nerd, I've gone and set myself up with an internet presence.  I guess, in the absence of a physical one, it's all I could do.  Not only that, but I've gotten a personalised domain name.  In automobile terms, I'm the guy ahead of you, about whom you know nothing, yet you hate intensely because he's got something egotistical written on his plates. 

So yeah,  I am now officially a "netizen".  I think this is important.  Way back in the twenties, when young women reached a certain age, they used debut into the socialite scene.  This is the digital equivalent -  I've now digitally arrived.  I'm not a woman though, so I guess thats where the analogy ends.
